We all love wrestlers like Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Aries,ETC but do we really expect the same out of bigger man? I mean look at it from a realistic stand point if your a 300 plus pound guy are you really going to go for a armbar or are you just going to toss the guy around and beat his ass. I mean why do we expect a techanical classic from Big Guys? We should expect beatdowns/Brawls from these type of guys not mat wrestling. Look at the Batista/Undertaker series....Those are not at all techanical matches yet nobody can doubt they have been very good match. Hell Abyss dose not go out there and chain wrestles but he goes out there to beat someones ass. I used to look at Khali really bad but what can he really do? He can't really go out there try his best because lets facefacts, He can crush a guys skull if he wanted to and break someones arm in half if he tried to chain-wrestle. Guys like Khali arn't going out there to be a Benoit, they are going out there to intimdate and make it seem like they are unstoppable. Similar to what guys like Big Show and Andre did. So why do we expect so much from them?

I think there is a certain stigma that big men have in the business and that is to be slow and powerful. But ever now and again you get big guys like The Undertaker and Mike Awesome who are fast, agile and they can actually wrestle and all of a sudden you have people comparing other big guys to them and when other big guys cant be up to there level it does in a way make people expect more form a big guy.
This belongs in the Debate Section, good thread but in the wrong place. **Moved**

Yes i remember it and it was good. Vince wants the bigger wrestlers to be powerhouses. He does not want them grappling. It is a spectacle to see these guys. The first time i seen the big show in real life i could not believe his physical size. Scary.
We do expect too much from them.
This could be an interesting debate. The mat wrestling fans will tear the big men apart

To the OP. You have a point but at the same time, what they do requires no skill and compared to an Undertaker, Mike Awesome, or even Big Show (he did a fuckin moonsault in WCW), most big guys are nothing and are untalented.

its there job to be powerhouses. no matte rhow cuikc you are for a big guy you ownt have the speed that the little guys got.
also when it comes to chain wrestleing big guys have hug ass limbs. imagine chain wrestling around kkahli. a full armbar would be rediculous.
to jstorm:
guys liek mike awsoem and the udnertaker are a dime a dozen when it comes to looks/size/muscles/etc. but when it comes to skill they become few and far between. people like awsoem and taker are gifted, bottom line. but this is how you end up wiht shitty guys liek tomko etc.

We do expect to much from the big guys. We are stupid to think of the big guys being shit just because they are powerhouses- lets face it, if the big guys, especially khali, were to do more than there usual moves people could be put at serious risk.
