Now, everybody has heard the rumors that it'll be Randy Orton vs Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 23. Well, WRONG! Here's the report:

A deal is being put together that would bring Hulk Hogan back on WWE television. He would engage in a feud with Randy Orton. A Hogan vs. Orton match is tentatively scheduled to take place at SummerSlam. When Orton did some media appearances in the UK last week, he believed that his match with Hogan would be taking place at Wrestlemania, but it looks like it will be rushed for SummerSlam.

An angle was teased on RAW last Monday when Brooke Hogan's music video aired, and then WWE quickly cut to a backstage shot of Orton smirking as he was watching the monitor. The basic gist of the angle is that Orton would psychotically pursue Brooke. This would lead to Hulk Hogan coming out to defend his daughter. WWE may even run with Randy Orton and Brooke Hogan becoming an onscreen couple - which of course would drive Hulk crazy. The later scenerio would seem far too rushed to be ready for SummerSlam, however, its being said that the angle is being "hotshotted" at this point. Everyone besides Hulk (her record label, publicists, etc...) is said to be negative towards the angle. The angle would bring her an incredible level of exposure. The feeling is that if she goes through with the angle, it will give her an even more difficult time of being taken seriously in the music industry because most people see her as a publicity stunt (being Hogan's daughter). If she appears on a wrestling show, she will probably become more of a joke of an act in the eyes of people outside of professional wrestling.

Also note, Hogan's WWE contract gives him full creative control on both angles and finishes.

Mark it in your calneders: RANDY ORTON vs HULK HOGAN AT SUMMERSLAM 06 (?)

I was really hoping for this match to go down at WM 23!! Dammit! Oh well...I think that's so odd that Hulk would actually allow for this idea of his sweet little daughter and Orton. I would assume he wouldn't want his family involved in anything...

BatistaCenaRKOgurl, have you seen his reality show? It has an episode of him getting his son involved in the WWE.

Hogan will beat orton.

this is a way for wwe to put orton over as the next big name in pro wrestling.he'll beat hogan ether clean or by cheating but one way or another orton will win.but if hogan did win whats the point?he'll leave after summerslam and we won't see him anymore(thank god).so him winning is a stupid idea and wwe sould put orton over.lets face alot of the big name wrestlers are getting older now, it's time for the next gen to take over.and leading us into the next gen is mr.randy orton.

these next couple months could be the biggest in randy orton's young career.his going to fued with hulk hogan, triple h,and john cena.and more then likely will pick up a victory in one of those fueds(if not all).

so let me get back on topic:orton and hogan's match will have good build but won't be a good match i see orton carring hogan to a some what decent match.just like last year when hbk carred hogan to an okay match.
so if wwe knows what there doing randy orton will win cleanly over hogan and that you can bank on

well vince just told me that .......

As things stand right now, the Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton storyline heading into the SummerSlam PPV has Hulk Hogan going over Orton, but as things go in the wrestling business, that can change in an instant.

i know we are past this but yes i doubt that they would be pushing the feud so early if the match as to take place at WM 23! and as for who wins i would say hogan will win the match but orton will win the feud in the end

As things currently stand, the upcoming Randy Orton-Hulk Hogan program is scheduled to culminate with a big match at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per view, with Hogan getting the win.

That could and will change a lot from now until then, but that's how things are lined up now. However things turn out, they'll pretty much have to be agreed upon by Hogan.

well this is retarded..

Unless he stays after summerslam, theres no point in hogan winning.

Randy Orton should NOT be jobbing to Hogan!!!!!!!!!!!! If i was randy i would be demanding answers!! If Hogan wins how is Ortan meant to be pushed? Triple H done the same thing and took the world heavywieght title off randy just a month after randy won the damm thing!!!

You guys do know that Nick Hogan actually is training to become a wrestler right? So like it or not eventually he will probably be in the WWE because of who is dad is. Unless he turns out to be God awful like Ric Flair's son David.

it seems to me that you guys are missing the big picture hogan will lose at summerslam setting up hogans big super comeback win over Orton at wm 23 that we he can bring in nick if he wants to so he can "defend" the family honor:rockon
