While some WWE releases are a product of creative having no ideas for the talent in question, Amy Zidian’s firing was purely the result of her own actions.

The first incident involved Zidian and WWE Diva Search winner Layla El. Zidian, who placed eighth in the contest, made a comment to Layla and asked if she was upset that the eighth place finisher was getting a push while the winner was “collecting dust.”

She also managed to upset fellow SmackDown! Diva Kristal by mocking her hair extensions.

But Zidian’s upsetting fellow WWE females did not end there. One of her most prominent incidents involved asking Vickie Guerrero how, based on her looks, she was able to get a job as a Diva for the company. Guerrero responded that since she is not pretty enough she should leave “your” (Amy’s) lockerroom.

The incident had far greater ramifications, though, as insulting Eddie Guerrero’s widow is not a move that would typically win one respect in the lockerroom. Although Zidian was sincere in her question (she truly did not know who Vickie Guerrero was nor how she became an on-air talent), her ignorance on the issue was not considered a valid excuse in the eyes of the wrestlers. There was actually a push to fire Zidian for that incident, but John Laurinaitis convinced WWE to give her another chance.
Following that incident, Stephanie McMahon attempted to give Zidian some advice on proper backstage behavior. Zidian, in front of a crowd backstage and with attitude in her voice, asked who she was to be giving out advice. Zidian’s reaction to Stephanie’s “revelation” of her identity was not described as apologetic, and her fate was, at that point, sealed.

Jimmy Wang Yang, for whom Zidian served as valet, had been distancing himself from the Diva backstage to avoid picking up her lockerroom heat. John Laurinaitis did not, however, avoid heat for the incidents as her call-up to SmackDown! was primarily his call.

Wow what a spoiled little bitch.

How could you not know who Stephanie McMahon is? I could probably undertsand Vickie Guerrero but don't the wrestlers usually keep up with whats going on where in the backstage

She's a little bitch.

She's was probably one of those blonde airheads at school, that slept around and teased other girls that looked different to her such as myself.

Go back to your job as a part time stripper you bitch, you disgust me.

Damn... How ignorant can someone possibly get? She was nothing special anyways, and even that sounds like an overstatement.

I know one thing, she damn sure wouldnt have talked to me like that or else I would've had to rearrange her already ugly ass face.:punch:

See this is why you dont hire dumbasses, they dont know anybody or how powerful they are. I bet if she knew who Stephanie/Vickie was she would have kept her mouth shut. Let this be a lesson to Vince's dumbass.

I'm glad she's gone, wasnt even that pretty anyway.

She knows nothing about wrestling and what is it about and being rude to everyone backstage is not the smartest way to get around...she deserved to get fired

a prime example of why they should stop having Diva searches.

This is why Vince shouldn’t waste his money on bimbos such as this pathetic skank. She has no respect to anyone that doesn’t look like her (not that she’s anything to look at IMO.) Obviously, doesn’t give a shit about the WWE and has never bothered to look into the wrestling business before since she doesn’t know who Stephanie is.

But I guess he’ll never learn.

I just dont get why she had such a fit when she got voted off the diva search. She was the one who cried right? Maybe she was just embarassed. I just think its funny that even though she was managing Jimmy he wouldnt talk to her.
But seriously they should fire that John Laurinaitis guy

Regarding the story on WWE hiring a bunch of bikini models, John Laurinaitis and the company want to sign and bring up as many as 20 new women for roles on television over the next three months. This has led to them trying to teach the men and women newcomers in Louisville where most (but not all) of the new women live and work, about wrestling history. Mike Bucci (Simon Dean), who is running the program, gave them a list of names to learn.

[[so we dont have a repeat of Amy i guess.]]

how stupid can this girl be?

1. when you get hired by a company that big and you know nothing about it, you should probably do some research, she's probably never even heard of eddie gurerro.

2. when coming into a company, the most important thing for you to do is figure out who your boss is and when they speak to you, don't try to fuck them over with your attitude.

^This just proves what me and the other girls have said all along. None of these diva search whores have no clue about the WWE and have never bothered to watch it before. It's a slap in the face for us girls that watch it and know everything.

The Vickie Guererro exerpt is what got me...how empathetic. As I stated in the "K-Fed Getting A Regular Role In WWE" post, I insisted that anyone NEW to the world of professional wrestling should have a course, perhaps it should be called pro wrestling 101. I'm not kidding. This way, we can filter out all the crappy individuals and keep the potentials. And, btw, the course would be at least....1 YEAR.:tu

^They should be hiring people that actually like wrestling and have knowledge into the business. It's a slap to the face for us REAL fans that would kill to be in the business.
