Im just curious why everyone hates TNA with a passion. For a while it seemed like it was gaining popularity and even looked like WWE was paying attention to it. But everytime I come on to the site it seems as if everyone here absolutely hates it. Im just curious why. Personally I think the storylines arent as good as WWE's and I hate their timeslot. But I actually think that have more talented wrestlers.

Any feeback would be nice but please dont just say "TNA Sucks" or "I hate it because it's gay." Actual responses would be nice.

the reason i dont like it is the ring(probally because im no use to it) and the wrestlers like soma joe or aj styles also Billy Gunn and Road Dogg Jessie James or Kip James and whatever road doggs name is. i think he uses jessie james still(i forget) i hate them not because they dissed HHH(this too though) but because they use the suck it sign like there are still in DX if u leave the WWE and then diss one of the leaders of DX and know they cant get you on TNA then you should not do the suck it sign and it means they suck X-pac though is still cool even if he disses DX

Personally i like it. They do really have bad writers and I think they have to push their younger talent more.

Aside from all that's been mentioned, their announcing team has a lot to do with it. They treat the action like it's not scripted and insult our intellegence just like they did in the wcw. If you have 2 announcers they should sometimes get along and mostly argue. JR and Lawler make a good team. They often amuse me. Joey Styles is outstanding by himself. Having 2 faces act like childish cheerleaders doesn't work anymore. It used to work in the 70's.

well JR and King do act like its not scripted but they do not do it the way Tennay and that other dude .. don something or another anyway

JR and King Storytell and it works for them
Tennay and jackhole just cheerlead like retards .. did anyone see last weeks Impact where Jeff Jarrett yelled at Tennay for no reason at all it was so dumb

Agreed, Mr. Awesome. Tenay and Bozo don't seem to get it. They're behind the times. It's like they think the wrestling fan today reacts with "he's a cheater - Boo! boo!" and "good guy wins. yippy! yes! yes!" Although JR and Styles side with favorites and get upset with heels, they have a different approach that fits today's fan. They understand that today's fan wants to be entertained and see great performers and their calls just add excitement.

Let's take a silly gimmick - the Rock's people's elbow, obviously a stupid finishing move from a wrestling perspective. He gets away with it cause he's the Rock.

WWE version. JR will let the action flow "here it is. the people's elbow" King may interject "oh no, not the people's elbow!" At impact King yells "ahhh!" That's funny. It works.

TNA version. Tenay - "The Rock's getting ready for the people's elbow" Bozo - "Yes! Yes!" Tenay - "When the Rock comes off the ropes and slows down to grinding halt, he drops the elbow like nobody else. The most devestating move in all of wrestling!" Bozo - "You know it is. Yes! Yes!"

I cant believe people are saying TNA has retarded storylines.......look at WWE, its become so unwatchable now i mean Vito in a dress wtf, Triple H doing nothing with Spirit Squad, turning SpiritSquad into annoying heals instead of funny steroetypes like say Mean Gene.... to mention a few so dont talk to me about retarded storylines.

Yes Jeff Jarrett is annoying but he i dunno MAYBE ITS BECAUSE HES MEANT TO BE THE BIGGEST HEEL IN TNA. TNA is non stop action compared to boring predictable WWE. WWE has too many screw jobs in it like Benoit always losing to name a few

Triple H, HBK, Benoit, Orton are the only reasons people watch WWE compared to TNAs SUPERSTARS

Thats both funny as Hell and true!

I hate that don guy, he just screams and over reacts to everything! For example:

Somoa Joe hits the muscle buster

Don: HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A MOVE LIKE THAT BEFORE IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING HISTORY!!?!?!?

beacuse except for the hand full of good wrestlers TNA sucks. They have a stuiped ring. Do they want to be the UFC or do they want to be wrestling make up your mind. why dont the just go back to thier old four sided ring? The only good wrestlers they have are AJ Styles and WWE rejects like Team 3D, Raven, James Gang, and Christian. The rest just suck. They're tryin to make that Samoa Joe guy like Goldburg. Same old crap diff person

I dont hate TNA , but they really don't have anything which would make me like the brand. They lack starpower, and most importantly the will to compete with wwe

Several TNA wrestlers show more skill in the ring than any other promotion, but it's not as entertaining. I came up with an analogy.

You can gamble in Las Vegas on the strip or downtown. The odds are more favorable downtown but the casino atmosphere is lousy. Most visitors that are aware they're getting worse odds on the strip still much prefer to gamble in a casino on the strip. The casinos on the strip are beautiful, extremely well run, and have all the fine touches in place.

I think hatred of TNA is a manifestation of the WWE zealots' paranoia. What fresh and innovative storylines do WWE currently have on the go? Er... D-X and ECW! Double standards? People in creatively bankrupt glass houses should really refrain from throwing stones!

Its simple people hate TNA because it sucks and they are WWE wanna bes.I think that the only good thing about watching TNA is the commercials

This is MY 100th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

tna's storylines mighn't be great but its in ring stuff is brilliant exponentially better than wwes with the exception of a few wrestlers. i like tna because it focuses on the wrestlers ability instead of indulging the owners ego. Vince mcmahon believes he is the star of the show and people pay to see him. although jarrett is the owner at least he can wrestle but i think he needs to step away from the world title picture for guys like rhino, samoa joe, chris daniels and aj styles

I love TNA more than WWE.

A true gambler will bet downtown, because of the odds, while a false gambler will bet at the strip, for the atmosphere.

My analogy to yours.

I dont like it cause they contradict themselves all the time. They bitch and moan about the big names in WWE that hold the "good wrestlers" down and then in TNA you have Jeff Jarrett and all the WCW guys in there doing the same thing.

The six sided ring is just a joke as well. It is cool for a gimmick match here and there but i find it hard to watch 2 hrs of wrestling with that ugly ass thing in the middle.

As much as TNA fans hate on HHH at least HHH hasnt been in the title picture like Jeff Jarrett has been the whole year. Jarrett is holding down guys in a somewhat new promotion. WWE is established and HHH had his big run.

Jarrett needs to allow other guys to make their mark and then later on use his heel character to put over the big time faces.

For all the talk that TNA makes new superstars i cant name any superstars they have made. And dont tell me Styles and Daniels..both were just as big in ROH and on the indy circuit before being X division flunkies in TNA.

I find the announcers are horrible, storylines are really bad and their acting skills aswell. I also dislike the way they make the matches... too many little ugly combos that don't even look like they hurt and they move way too fast (the moves and them getting up). The only skills in TNA are Monty Brown and Samoa Joe. Another thing... I find them pathetic because all their better wrestlers are WWE rejects and people pay to see them. I find WWE beats TNA in every single way without a problem. But the most annoying thing is that all the good matches are in PPVs... WWE add some interesting matches in the weeks but TNA... The only "special" matches (exept in PPvs) are 6 way tag team matches or other pathetic attemps of giving you your 60 minutes of "adrenaline rush"...

MATT HARDY ROCKS!

Who cares about the ring or the investment they take on commercialicing it. does any one pay attention to the actual wrestling? if you want to watch the same crap over and over again on wwe, go ahead. i'll have fun watching TNA. if TNA doesnt sell out to the WWE, just like ECW or WCW, then i believe WWE will be history within 5 years or so... gotta give it some time

The in ring product is very good BUT you are not going to get much done with 1 hour. Plus the timeslot is very bad, and I don't like Jeff Jarrett being the World Champ most of the time.

the dont have any1 as good as ppl in wwe the only ppl dat would b good in wwe r aj styles monty brown and ron killings

yankees25m

I think they do have some people who could be sucessful on Raw but not Monty Brown or Ron Killings. Monty Brown is just another Batista. Hes a big man who cant actually wrestle but gets by because of his amazing physique. Ron Killings Im not so sure about. I dont pay that much attention to him. Its kind of hard to when he has that break dancing type gimmick. The people who would be sucessful in WWE are AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, Petey Williams, Senshi and Sonjay Dutt of the X-Division. Out of the heavyweight divion Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Christian Cage, AMW, Team 3D, and the Naturals would all be sucessful if used right.

Personally I would rather watch Impact over Raw any day of the week.
