Let's discuss all old school Tag Teams here,i'll start it off.
The Hart Foundation was one of my favorites because they worked very well together. You had the power of the Anvil and the finess of The Hitman. They had the ability to beat any team on any given night.

those guys are sick
i remember the first time is aw them on some fmw dvd my friend has. i was like what the fuck r those fat guys doin on top of the turnbuckles. then i proceeded to shit myself. they definatley shoulda got more recognition in america.
does anyone know if they still wrestle?
Juan Miguels
10-16-2006, 05:02 PM
They wrestled in ECW for a while but more in FMW. 400- 450 pound guys doing moonsaults.....fuckin sick. I think they still wrestle but I'm not sure. The Headhunters are definetly a team that Vince should have looked into but he wants bodybuilding stiffs instead.

I hated the Moppy angle. It was so degrading to a guy like Saturn that kicked so much ass in ECW and WCW. Another perfect example of misused talent by the WWE.
My favorites would have to be the Eliminators and the ECW Dudley Boyz and the heel WWF/E Dudley Boyz. I always thought how cool it was that Kronus was such a lard ass and could do the most killer moves.
Total Elimination was the greatest tandem finisher ever, hands down.
he got shot in the back of the neck 6 times while stoping a rape attempt. he didnt know untill the cops showed up.
6 Times? I thought it was 3. Oh well. But Saturn has my respect as a one of the best wrestlers and as a human being. He is a good person who was underused. It's really a shame that he can't wrestle anymore. Although didn't he want to do Hardcore Homecoming but it turned out he couldn't because of his neck?

^I agree Matt, Perry Saturn was one great wrestler and it's a shame his career was cut short like that. He and John Kronus were one of the greatest teams ECW had back then.

The Eliminators. I need not explain why they kicked so much ass. It's obvious.
The Eliminators were awesome as well as The Impact Players. I miss Perry Saturn !

Anyone remember the Skyscrapers Mark Callaway (Taker) & Sid Vicious then later it was Vicious and Dan Spivey.
I remeber them, but the original team was Sid and Spivey, then it was Spivey and Mark Callous (taker), then Spivey and Sid again, Taker and Sid were never actually in the team at the same time
Damn I think your right - good memory

I have a better long term memory than short term, thats why I can remember some of the most obscure facts from the 80's and 90's
But yeah, they were a great team

How about The Powers of Pain, Warlord and Barbarian. Sure they were a rip off LOD but were a pretty decent tag team.

01-04-2007, 09:44 AM
^^^yeah they were good, if you are talking about LOD ripoff you gotta be talking about Demolition(Ax and Smash, later on crush would join).
Everyone can talk all day about great tag teams and a team i think nobody has not mentioned yet is the HighFlyers, Greg Gagne and Jim brunzell. What a team they were back in the old AWA
They were a very good team then Brunzell left and formed the Killer bees in the WWF. Another under-rated team - Can-Am Connection (Rick Martel & Tom Zenk)

i dont know if any one has mentioned them yet but how about harlem heat
How could we forget harlem heat, 2 great talents who never really got the recognition they deserved in WCW. Even though booker t would become a 5 time world champion, that was only becuase of a racisal lawsuit against WCW at that time. They weren't using enough african-americans on the show and suddenly after that we got the cat miller as commisioner, stevie ray as commentator(or it might be the other way round) and booker t as world champion. So WCw never really booked Booker as world champ becuase of his talent, which is sad but becuase of that lawsuit against them
How can anyone forget the Dynamic Dudes - Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace (yes that Johnny Ace - Head of WWE Personnel)
