The following is from Bryan Alvarez's Figure Four Weekly newsletter:

From several sources, morale is way down in the company. The miserable ratings are a big part of it since everyone expected they’d go back up once Ultimate Fighter started, and they haven’t. There is a feeling that they don’t have the money to fight WWE (which they don’t), and they can’t follow UFC without looking fake (which is true). Another source who plays a very prominent role in the operation said the place is a joke and he expects it to die at any time.

lol im not surprised

Yep this is the end of TnA. They'll go on for the rest of this year and mnost of next year with horrible ratings and stupid matches likie the belt thing with Jeff Jarret.

WwE is going to buy them out and not do anything with it for 5 years and then Vince will bring it back and get an hour show on Sc............oh wait never mind he bought a good wrestling company and i dont see him buying out TnA

It an't worth buying out... what's going to happen is any big names they have will prolly jump to wwe seeing that the company is on it's way down anyone who has been around long enough will realise it and try to make nice with vince. ppl like rhyno will beg for jobs and will prolly be rejected. and the younger guys will be spread to smackdown and ecw. first to leave nash...

TNA needs to work on their own shows instead of looking at the WWE for ideas.

You actually believe that??

I'm guessing you also still believe in the Easter Bunny & Santa Claus too, huh?

What a shocker, considering most people here are already biased against the TNA product without valid reasoning.....

Oh no, theres plenty of valid reason. Reason #1 - Jeff Jarrett, now I could continue with reasons #2-#274 but they'd all be Jeff Jarrett, so I'll move on. As much as you all say TNA pushes their younger talent, they don't, having them on the roster, and giving them 5 minutes in the ring isn't pushing them, while guys like Sting and Jarrett get 20 minutes a night. TNA right now deserves the ratings their getting. And the only reason they have the talent they do like Homicide, Aires, Daniels, Low Ki, etc., is because of their "partnership" with ROH, if it weren't for that, they wouldn't have any of those guys. I could keep going but I'm sure you tire of hearing the truth, so I'll leave it at that.

You've got me on the Jarrett topic. TNA needs to let Jarrett take a 6 month or year vacation. Fans tire of seeing him. However, if hating Jarrett makes people tune in to see what happens to him, it's a plus.

You anti-TNA fans always use the crutch that TNA DOESN'T push new talent. Meanwhile, you have WWE on the other hand, shoving McMahons, Hogan, Flair, etc down our throats on a semi-regular basis. I find irony in that logic.

And btw, Samoa Joe and Chris Sabin both qualify as "younger talent" and they are pushed CONSISTANTLY on Impact. As well as Christian, Jay Lethal, Eric Young, and don't forget the whole "free agent" angle with Bobby Roode. While these guys don't get as much time as Sting or Jarrett, they ARE as much a part of the Impact broadcast.

Last, but, not least, ROH is virtually unknown to most casual wrestling fans. Them having a "partnership" with TNA is simply good business. As seen in the past, WWE does the same thing. John Cena came from UPW["prototype, anyone??]. You see, all the arguements about the reasoning the TNA 'sucks' aren't valid, as WWE does the same things. Find a better excuse than Jarrett :ohlord: That's an easy-out......

Yeah, so Samoa Joe has an undefeated streak, woohoo. He isn't being used to his full potential and I don't see Chris Sabin in the main event. And you automatically assume I think WWE is doing everything right. This is clearly about TNA, so lets try not to get off topic, because WWE isn't perfect.

I would hardly call christian young, Eric Young walks around saying, don't fire me, yeah, thats a push, Jay Lethal, he has a match or two against Jarrett which is the only push he'll probably get for a while. Why are the actual talented wrestlers like Alex Shelley and Homicide not getting pushed? They're the best things TNA's got going for them, yet they're trapped in the mid card, if that sometimes.

And apparently this friendship they have together might not last, at least that was the rumor a few weeks ago, and if that happens, say goodbye to TNA, seeing as how most of their talent is ROH talent. And Jarrett is the only excuse needed, I don't see Triple H in the title picture anymore do I? No, there you go. Oh, and by the way, just as a side note about WWE, Carlito, Lashley, Kennedy, and the younger guys on Raw and Smackdown are infact getting the same push, if not more of a push than all the TNA talent you've previously mentioned, not just one guy in the main event constantly, so find a way to better defend TNA than by using the typical, Anti-TNA WWE fan.

wait umaga gets just as much if not more time then joe... cena may have come from upwi but wwe does not have a partnership with a fed that by all wrights is better then them... i mean tna has the time slot yet roh carries them... lol

and as far as young talent cena orton umaga masters carlito spirit squad lashley kahli batista kennedy nitro terkay vip crime tyme benjamin knox punk striker dupree the highlanders... they are all young talent and are always being pushed! So if all you have is soma joe you loose that arguement that tna is like wwe. and wwe does not have the owner hold the world title and vince's promos are actualy entertaining and help push the storylines unlike jj who is just boring. and if you have to search for one way tna is better then wwe then how much better could it realy be? lol
