I dont like it and i think it looks stupid.I read in an interview with AJ Styles that he likes it because the ring is smaller and easier to move around. He also said the ropes are tighter so it is easier to bounce off the ropes.I guess it has it's advantages but i like the old school ring.

Personally I like it. I am a fan of smaller faster wrestlers. This ring definitely gives them an advantage and keeps the matches going at a faster pace. With the 6 sided ring you wouldnt be able to have huge slow wrestlers like the Big Show or the Great Khali.

^ya that is an advantage and the ropes seem tighter making more realistic as to people bouncing of them and coming back at there oppenents

I understand it's purpose but I still think it's ridiculous. It's just TNA's attempt to get attention. Just like attacking WWE on TV. Isn't it amazing how these things backfire on them?

I'm not against the Sixsided ring. I don't think its necessary(totally think thats wrong) but it keeps the pace faster than a WWE match because way more high risk high fl;ying moves are being executed beacuse of the tighter ropes

Tighter ropes can be acheived by simply tightening them. Six sides doent necessarily mean tighter ropes, but I understand what your saying.

I don't really like it, but I can see why TNA uses it

Like i said i think the regular ring is better,TNA just wanted to get attention and it worked.Like Chairshot said above all they have to do is tighten the ropes with a regular ring.

When they say tighter ropes they mean that they are closer together.

TNA did this six-sided ring to be different. How could they stand out if they conformed to the traditional ring?

There are certain things you can do better in a six-sided ring[such as cage matches] than in the traditional four sided square. People can say it is stupid all they want, but, it has them talking, doesn't it? I'm impressed with the six-sided ring and hope TNA keeps adding differences to their product.

Yes, it has them talking, but them talking isn't improving their .07 ratings. And I hate using the word conforming when speaking in regards of the traditional ring. Ever since they've adopted the six-sided ring, the quality of TNA's matches have decreased. These differences are in the long run what will kill TNA. Being different is one thing, but being stupid is what TNA's accomplishing.

so then they aren't different? they are just ripping off someone else... i see. wow you realy proved a point there. as far as aaa where is there tv deal? how much money scratch that pesos do they make? it realy don't matter because they are in a dirt poor country that is not civilized and thats why they are doing "fine" because they can't be closed down or anything... but it doesn't realy matter because all the wwe brands are doing better ratings wise then tna and in about a year everyone will be like. TNA? wasn't that like a fake ufc or something? no no it was a wrestling promotion. oh yeah and the owner held the title forever right? yeah untill the repoman came and took that shit away.

Yea the ring posts are closer together. What are you talking about?

Someone said earlier that the 6 sided ring made tighter ropes. So someone else said just tie the ropes tighter for the same effect. I was clarifying that tighter ropes meant the posts are closer.
